Longdendale High School support foodbank

Eight pupils from Longdendale High School visited the foodbank.

Before their visit they had worked hard running cake sales and collecting donations. This meant that they could bring a whopping 113.5kg of food – enough for 270 meals.

During their visit they learnt how a foodbank works and had a go at some essential tasks like how to welcome a client and what goes into a food parcel.
