About Our Foodbank
Here is an introduction to our project.
Our foodbank is working towards stopping hunger in our local area. It is a project founded by Horeb Baptist Church and supported by local churches and community groups including:
- St Mary’s Church Hollingworth
- Hollingworth Methodist Church
- St Michael and All Angels Church Mottram
- Hyde Central Methodist Church
- Hope Community Church
- Local councillors
- Local schools
- Cricket Club, Rotary Club
- Individuals who come into our foodbank with donations
We provided 26,811 meals last year (to April 2023). 35% of the people we fed were children.
