We are having another collection food at Tesco Extra Hattersley from 9am to 5pm on Friday 17th March.
This collection comes quite soon after our previous one, but its just how the dates allocated by Tesco have fallen. We will not have another collection until the summer
These collections keep the foodbank afloat – over 50% of the food donate comes through Tesco, so please come to help if you can.
What’s involved
- Sign-up for one (or more) 2 hours slots at the store (between 9-11am, 11am-1pm, 1pm-3pm, and 3-5pm)
- Hand out leaflets to shoppers entering the store asking them to pick up some extra items for the foodbank
- Collectdonations from shoppers and thank them
- Stack the food so that it can be stored before we ship it to our warehouse
