School holiday meals project

At Tameside South and Longdendale Foodbank we are concerned that kids do not get a school dinner in the holidays. So we have started a scheme with local primary schools, with help from new Councillor Chris Buglass. Families in need are offered a voucher for food to cover lunches and breakfasts in the holidays. So far 28 families including 43 children have received food parcels.
