We have taken the difficult decision to close our Hollingworth Hub operation.
We have worked hard to keep the foodbank operating by partnering with Healthy Hyde and Citizens Advice to provide a range of support services to clients.
Sadly, this was not taken advantage of as we had hoped and it is no longer viable to keep it running.
Our final foodbank session will be held at St. Mary’s Church on Monday 29 July, 9-11am.
We have leaflets at the church for clients to explain the decision further and signpost them to other support services.
Access foodbank support
Anyone in Hollingworth who needs urgent help can contact St. Mary’s Church for access to emergency food parcels.
People still needing emergency food can access support from other nearby foodbanks, including our other two centres in Hyde and Hattersley.
Note: You must have a voucher as usual to access these parcels.
Accessing other services
Anyone needing support from Healthy Hyde can access their services at Clarendon Square Shopping Centre, 8.30am-8pm from Monday to Friday.
If you would like any further information about the closure, please contact [email protected].
Citizens Advice will remain at our foodbanks in Hyde and Hattersley.
