Thanks to all the shoppers at Tesco last weekend who generoursly donated over 1.6 tonnes of food to help local people in crisis. This will provide over 3,600 meals.
Also thanks to the businesses that helped.
- Tesco let us made the collection and also top-up with cash which helps with petrol and other costs – thanks for all the work from corporate management (who set up these collections with the Trussell Trust) and to local staff who are always so helpful
- Ross Care who provided a van and loaded 1.5 tones of food to take to the warehouse
- TBD Training – who sort and date the food and give us free space in their warehouse
