Start of building on the new extension

Work has started on the new extension to Hattersley Baptist Church. The church has worked hard to raise the money for the extension which will be used by the foodbank and the church. It will add a foodbank warehouse room so that we can store all our food on-site. At the moment food is stored as far away as Trafford Park so there is a lot of work moving food around so that we make the best use of our stock.

The extension will also add a new community room that will be used by the church and the foodbank. We hope to be able to offer budgeting and benefits advice as well as a job club.
