It was a great day of celebration with over 50 people attended the opening and tea.

The extension has been built by Hattersley Baptist Church and there were representatives from all areas of the Baptist family. The Old Baptist Union, the North Western Baptist Association and members from Macclesfield Baptist Church and Mexborough Baptist Church. Local churches  that support the foodbank were also there with representatives of  Mottram Parish Church, Hattersley Community Church and Mottram Evangelical Church.

The new warehouse will enable us to keep all our food on-site at Hattersley Baptist Church instead of moving it between warehouses in Broadbottom, Ashton and Trafford Park.

All pleased as punch on this great day
