ASDA Food Drive

6th June 2018

ASDA have been collecting food for us as part of a new Food Drive initiative.

From Sat 12th May to Friday 25th May ASDA shoppers at their Hyde store donated 47.2 kg of food, which we estimate will provide over 100 meals for people in crisis.

Food Drive is part of a new three-year ASDA Fight Hunger Create CHange programme working in partnership with The Trussell Trust  and Fareshare to tackle hunger across the country.

As a Trussell Trust charity we will be able to access a range of additional support and resources thanks to the partnership, including potential grant funding opportunities to support our work, particularly services beyond emergency food.
