Twin collections

Thank-you to Tesco shoppers and foodbank volunteers who have supported two supermarket collections in only two weeks.

Shoppers :

• at Glossop gave 2460 meals on the 6/7th September
• at Hattersley gave 2200 meals on 13/14th September

It’s a big ask to get volunteers on 2 successive weekends but we were able to collect for the full day on all four days.

The warehouse was getting very thin so the collections will mean that we can continue to feed people in crisis through autumn.

Thank-you to everyone – it’s only as team that we can make it work
