Fantastic generosity at Tesco Hattersley

Thanks to everyone who gave at our collection at Tesco Extra Hattersley last week. You gave an amazing 1.2 tonnes of food – or over 2,800 meals. Some parts of our cupboard were looking a bit bare – but your contributions will mean that local people can continue to get food over Christmas

Generous commuters support our foodbank

Harvest at Hattersley Baptist Church

Hattersley Baptist Church had their Harvest Festival last week and gave the donations to the foodbank. We estimate that the food will provide over 200 meals for local families in crisis. Thank-you so much to everyone at the church

Twin collections

New foodbank chair

Susan Ayers has been appointed as the new foodbank chair by the Trustees (subject to our members meeting later in the year). She is currently project co-ordinator and has helped out at foodbank for over four years.

Prince’s Trust help out
