Our foodbank provides three days of nutritionally balanced, non-perishable food.

The Trussell Trust has worked with nutritionists to ensure food parcels contains sufficient nutrition for at least three days worth of healthy, balanced meals for individuals and families.

A typical food parcel includes:

  • Breakfast cereals
  • Soup
  • Pasta
  • Rice
  • Pasta sauce
  • Tinned beans
  • Tinned meat and fish
  • Tinned vegetables
  • Tinned fruit
  • Tea or coffee
  • Sugar
  • Biscuits
  • Snacks

Dietary requirements

Our foodbank can usually adapt your food parcel to meet your dietary needs, for example halal, diabetic or vegetarian. When you arrive at the foodbank centre, a volunteer will chat to you about an special dietary requirements you may have.

Pet food

If you have a dog or a cat let us know when you arrive. If pet food has been donated then we can add it to your parcel.

Toiletries

Our donors often provide toiletries and feminine hygiene products. Let us know when you arrive and, if they available, we can add these to your package.

Getting your food home

If you could bring your own shopping bags that helps the foodbank….and the planet.

If you have a family of more than 2 people you might want to bring a friend or relative to help carry the bags.
