Our foodbank relies on your goodwill and support.
At the moment our stores are very patchy - we have more than enough of some items, but not enough of others.

Over 90% of the food distributed by foodbanks in The Trussell Trust network is donated by the public – that’s why your food donations are absolutely vital to our ability to give everyone referred to us a balanced and nutritious three day supply of food.

Prefer to Shop On-line?
You can buy a complete food parcel for a family on-line. The parcel is specially chosen for foodbank, contains just what we need and is delivered to us 
Tameside Foodbank – Give Today
Alternatively you can use your favourite supermarket to deliver the food you would like to give. Go on-line to your usual on-line supermarket and simply change the delivery address to:

- Times Tuesday 11-noon; Thursday 10-1pm
We do not have fridges so all the food has to be store cupboard items and add a note to say its for the foodbank

We always welcome donations and promise to use them to provide help to people in crisis. Occasionally we send food to other nearby foodbanks to support their work particularly if they experience shortages. This ensures your donations go to help people wherever in the UK they are.
We provide parcels of food for 3 days – so mega bags e.g. 3kg pasta or rice are difficult distribute – 500g or 1kg bags are better.
